There are a lot of nonprofits that donate computers or sell them at a reduced price to individuals and families in need. Every organizations defines ” Need” differently so you just have to ensure that you meet what their definition of need is!
At www.techsoup.org/mar you can search via their zip code for organizations in your area that provide free or low priced computers. From the navigation bar, use the Directory link ‘Refurbishers List by Community MAR Location.
You may also want to search www.google.com and using the following words as your search criteria “computer recycling and reuse” to search for other resources. Be sure to include your state in the search box to ensure you are within the right community.
