1. Check out your credit union cards:
Joining a credit union, such as, PenFed (Pentagon Federal credit Union) which is available to Military Family Members or one from you employer will give you access to good rates; if you are an employee of say cisco, Agilent or HP, Addision Avenue Federal Credit Union has cards with rates as low as 5.24%.
2. Specialty Rewards Cards:
These cards carry no annual fee and are great as a cash back card, provided you do not carry a balance. An example of the card is the trueearnings Costco Card from American Express.
3. Finally Association Cards: USAA has credit cards with rates as low as 7.75 percent for current and retired military personnel and their families. For teachers, there is the NEA platinum Plus Card which has rates as low as 6.24 percent APR and 0 PERCENT on balance Transfers within the first 12 months.
